Redemption

Redemption

My very first book, published through a publisher rather than self-published like my later works.

It is now year 53 of Christ’s Millennial Kingdom. Most of the residents of the Holy City live quiet lives in peace and serve the Lord in their worship or through their work, but there are restless individuals who crave service of another kind. They find the opportunity in the Royal Navy which is tasked with hunting down and doing battle with rebel spiritual beings who fled to the stars over the course of millennia to build empires where they would not be subject to GOD’s laws.

Now those rebels have formed an alliance they believe to be powerful enough to threaten New Jerusalem itself. The star ship Redemption is sent on a mission to investigate the uprising and stop the rebels. Captain Alexei Androv, Marine Commander John Booker and Malakim Commander Tedra’el lead a crew that hope to end the tyranny of these Watchers forever.

Unbeknownst to these heroes, Jesus is ministering to the young woman 347 whose people are in thrall to their opponents. Will she also find redemption?

Get it here.

Excerpt:

The lights dimmed briefly as the dragon again smashed its massive iridescent tail against Redemption’s shields and the computers made subtle changes to the power distribution. Captain Alexei Androv’s brow furrowed in frustration, the light circuitry should be more resilient than this, and it probably meant external sensors had been damaged earlier in the battle, he’d have to get the sensors checked and recalibrated. He watched on a massive display stretched across the curved wall of the bridge as the beast moved away from the ship but then veered to strike again. It was large compared to most dragon aspects and the pulse cannon blasts being fired at it from the pursuing cruiser were being absorbed into its glistening hide seemingly as if it wasn’t feeling them at all. This had been going on for what had felt like an eternity but was probably in reality no more than a few minutes. Androv’s ageless brow furrowed with concern, he knew that the dragon had to be draining of energy. He had been in this situation many times before and they always tired eventually, the only question was whether it would tire before their shield energy was expended, but they were currently a long way off that happening.
