The New Judges

The New Judges

The 1000 year reign has begun, and Satan is chained in Tartarus. The Heavenly warrior Valori’el enlists a team of Earth’s greatest warriors from across history, calling them ‘The New Judges’, to fight against ancient corrupted fallen forces arrayed against Heaven who have enslaved humans unlucky enough to have found themselves living outside of the boundaries of New Heaven and Earth. Opponents like the crafty shedim Koche and the mighty nephilim pirate Grakh lie in wait whilst enslaved innocents like the fearless but vulnerable Gwen are fighting not just for survival, but for salvation. In their sleek starship, Judgement, the New Judges bravely leave the safety of New Jerusalem to face the rebels and bring the gospel to those they hold in bondage, but as the stakes increase ever higher and whole cosmic empires lie at stake, they will need more than just their skills and courage to survive and must seek power beyond themselves or fail.

Whilst absolute peace and prosperity existed in Heaven and on Earth, the same was not true of many planets and star systems outside of the scope of GOD’s new order. Rebel heavenly beings, or elohim, like Koche had fled to the outer reaches of the Milky Way galaxy in order to avoid Yahweh’s rule and had set up empires for themselves there using technology to populate otherwise uninhabitable planets. As Valori’el watched, an elegantly designed star ship of Christ’s Royal Navy left New Jerusalem and cruised away from the massive floating city. Laser-like beams shot out from the extremities of its hull and cut a window in space in front of the ship. These beams weren’t simply tearing through space, they were activating quantum-entangled coordinates, linking a point in front of the vessel to a matching entangled point light-years away. This meant that, instead of traveling conventionally, the ship was stepping across a cosmic bridge, shifting from one region of space to another in an instant. As the beams stabilized the entanglement field, the portal widened, becoming large enough to allow passage. Valori’el likened it to someone searching for the gap in closed curtains with their hands, pushing them through, and then pulling the curtains apart far enough to walk through. The ship manoeuvred through the widened aperture carefully and then the portal closed, leaving the vessel in whatever star system it had travelled to, potentially many millions of miles away from Earth. That now distant star ship was likely on a mission that would contribute towards the ridding of the galaxy of the fallen elohim. Onboard would be malakim such as himself, human-like elohim who served in many roles in GOD’s kingdom such as warriors, messengers, policemen and more, as well as redeemed humans who had volunteered to be officers, prayer warriors, pilots or royal marines in the Navy. They all willingly left a peaceful life of quiet service to the Lord on New Jerusalem to face uncountable dangers out in the dark reaches of space in a brave effort to bring peace to the entirety of creation and free the many humans that the fallen elohim had abducted or had bred in captivity. They risked bodily pain and mental anguish in order to do this, but not their lives in the sense that might be expected. Were their bodies to receive mortal wounds and perish, their souls would be drawn back to New Jerusalem immediately and be placed into new bodies. Eternal life had not been a vain promise for believers and GOD, as ever, was holding true to His Word. God would also heal any severe psychological trauma that might be endured. Valori’el approved of the Royal Navy’s efforts in general and felt that the work they did was essential but had often wondered over the past few years if there was perhaps a way of focusing the skillsets of exceptional humans in such a way that a smaller group could achieve similar results. Not only would it risk pain for fewer humans, but he felt that a small, specially selected, group might be able to take on missions that would otherwise be impossible. He had submitted his idea to the Council of the Holy and had a mere 5 minutes remaining before he was to stand before them.
