Men’el is a towering malak warrior, 8’1″ of silent strength and effortless grace. With tan skin, dark brown hair, and eyes that glint with ancient vigilance, he carries the nobility of one who has fought for centuries without seeking credit. In the past, he was an unseen protector of Ward and Stella, fending off spiritual attacks buoyed by the prayers of Ward’s small congregation. Now, as a visible companion, his role has evolved into that of brother, counselor, and guardian. He walks lightly, speaks rarely, and watches everything. Yet when he smiles, or shares an apple under a tree, it feels like the stars themselves exhale.
Stella radiates celestial beauty refined by redemption. In her resurrected form, she is the picture of physical and spiritual renewal. She carries herself with poise and grace, yet there’s a deep humility that anchors her, as though she’s never forgotten the grief and battles of the past. Beside Ward, she is not just a partner, but a mirror of his mission, compassionate, wise, and steadfast. Whilst she struggles to admit it, she continues to hold a deep love for her once husband. Her presence in a room seems to settle the air around her, as though Heaven itself leans in to listen.
A towering figure at 7’3″, Ward is the embodiment of spiritual strength refined by resurrection. In his remade form, he appears around 25 years old, broad-shouldered, composed, and alert. His short-cropped hair frames a youthful, striking face with clear blue eyes that carry decades of pastoral conviction. Though his features are unmarred, his gaze reveals a settled wisdom and unwavering clarity, both fruits of a life once lived in quiet service and now rekindled in glory. Once the humble pastor of a small church on Old Earth, Ward now moves through Heaven as a man electrified with unbridled passion for evangelism, forcing him from his comfortable life in New Jerusalem and out into the dystopian worlds of the Fallen. Every word he speaks carries the momentum of that fire, measured, compassionate, and fierce in its resolve. He doesn’t simply preach redemption; he embodies it, his very presence a testament to the power of restored purpose.
First captain and designer of the stealth frigate Wings of the Wind and now captain and designer of the battlecruiser Courage, Jonathan is an intelligent and savvy multi-talented individual who is known for coming up with radical solutions to seemingly unsolvable problems. He is famous for devising the portal tactic that destroyed the giant window gate threatening to melt New Jerusalem with the power of a sun in nova. He is partner and co-captain to Mei Song.
The 9ft tall Titus Strong was once Gorsk. A nephilim starship captain in the Fallen navy. He had his ship at Frixar when Cray Ironheart and Lance Keen were liberated and was captured. Christ stripped Gorsk of his elohim DNa, leaving him fully human and named him Titus Strong. He now lives in Paradise and happily serves alongside the two marines, having assigned himself as their protector.
Loyal best friend of Cray Ironheart and rescued from the same fallen colony. Lance would follow Cray to the end of the universe and back despite his natural tendency to shy away from danger. His quick wit and endless appetite for banter make him a refreshing addition to tense missions, grounding his fellow crew mates in reality.
Cray Ironheart, is the leader of Viper squad. The first human marine in the Royal Navy who volunteered straight after his liberation in one of the first Royal Navy missions of the Millennium. His bravery saved a malakim squad from possible annihilation that day by leading the human slaves to join the malakim against their oppressors. He meets his partner, Becca in a brief moment of forced intimacy as part of the station’s breeding program. She had recognized something in him in that moment though and now they raise their child and a second child she bore by someone else together in New Jerusalem.
The archangel Uri’el. The one thought to be the angel of wisdom by men but who’s idea of wisdom runs more along the lines of: “I’m wise enough not to be clever around someone who can pound them into a smooth paste.” Uri’el is the most battle hardened of the archangels, He is a tanned, muscular, brute with short blonde hair. He eschews the hi-tech armour the malakim wear in favour of his ancient leather and bronze armour which is showing its age. His weapons of choice are two one-handed Spirit Axes which are always either hung at his sides or embedded in the skulls of the Lord’s enemies. He is never seen with the metal wings that most archangels have on their armour. He possesses consummate skill in orbing and de-orbing out of the spiritual realm in order to ‘fly’. A skill known only to a elite few. There are doubtless many warriors even the most skilled Fallen would not want to face in battle, but at the very top of the list of them sits Uri’el.
